Today Google announced the next version of the Android operating system.
Continuing with the dessert theme, version 2.2 is code named FroYo (FROzen YOgurt)
All I have to say is: I can't wait. Verizon/Motorola can't get that Droid update out soon enough.

Please please please stop Lock Delay from preventing the Home and Search softkeys from working in Froyo for the Motorola Droid. They do not work when you turn the phone back on "before" the delay is up. If you wait until after the delay so that you enter security pattern then the soft keys go back to working again. I understand that you say its not compatible with Froyo, but the market allowed me to purchase it.
